Does this sound familiar at all?
You've spent ages learning grammar rules, you know plenty of vocabulary, but the moment you're in a real conversation, your mind just goes completely blank.
β
Honestly, that used to be my story.
When I was learning English, I had a go at everything β shadowing, even pricey 1-to-1 lessons. But I always felt like I'd hit a wall. The knowledge was in my head, but the words just wouldn't come out.
It was then I realised the problem wasn't my knowledge; it was the lack of a real speaking environment where I simply had to speak.
So, I created one for myself. I packed my bags and moved to London. Suddenly, I had to speak English every day, and amazingly, my English started to feel natural.
This experience is the foundation of how I teach Korean today.
β
I had a friend here attending a Korean class in London who really struggled to have a simple chat in Korean, despite her classes. So, I offered to become her 'speaking environment'. We'd meet for a coffee each week and just talk.
After a few months, her Korean became noticeably more natural.
And that, right there, is when my Korean coaching was born. My goal isn't to teach you more textbook rules, but to create that safe, immersive environment for you to finally find your voice.
β
Thatβs exactly why I built my Guided Self-Study Speaking Course.
It gives you daily structure, real-life speaking patterns, and a supportive space to practice without pressure.
If youβve been learning Korean for a while but still feel stuck, slow, or awkward when you speak, this course is where everything starts to shift.

If you're ready to stop just βlearningβ and finally start speaking naturally, Iβd love to support you π₯°
Warm hugs,
Lily
